Your destination, your decisions
Choose with a clearer picture.
Explore China with an application plan built around your qualifications, subject interests and the full cost of studying.
Start with your subject and teaching language
Compare the exact degree programme, institution, campus and qualification. Confirm whether teaching is in Chinese or English and what language evidence is accepted. Ask how your academic qualifications and subject background are assessed before preparing an application.
Understand CSC application routes
The China Scholarship Council administers Chinese Government Scholarships. Follow the application category and instructions in the current call. Type A applications can involve an embassy or dispatching authority, while university-managed routes have their own requirements. Do not use one programme’s agency number or instructions for another route.
Read the Bangladesh announcement carefully
The Chinese Embassy’s published 2026 CGS / CSC Type A announcement invited Bangladeshi applicants for specified degree and language-study routes. That notice had a January 2026 deadline and is a reference, not a current open call. Check the latest embassy and university notices for your intended intake.
Check the actual funding package
The published Bangladesh Type A notice described tuition, accommodation, insurance and living support. Benefits depend on the scheme and award. Confirm the current package, any exclusions and payment arrangements in the actual call and award letter before relying on funding.
Prepare documents and a realistic budget
Organise your passport, academic certificates and transcripts. Add language results, a study plan, recommendations or other documents where the programme requires them. Confirm certification, translation and medical-document instructions before paying for services. Budget for costs before arrival and any items outside an award.
Read the offer before you accept
Confirm the exact qualification, campus, start date, duration and any conditions. Ask for a written fee schedule and payment dates. Keep the offer and refund policy together so that you can compare options on the same basis.
Check who awards the qualification and whether it meets your academic or professional plans. Clarify any preparation course or additional assessment before paying a deposit.
Prepare the entry and arrival stages
Follow the admitting university’s instructions for the study-entry documents linked to your programme. Use the Chinese embassy’s current visa guidance for your nationality and confirm requirements before arranging travel.
Ask your international office about registration, accommodation, insurance, medical requirements and any local residence formalities. Keep your offer and scholarship decision together if your place is funded.
Prepare for arrival and your first semester
Confirm accommodation, airport or station transport, registration dates and the university’s arrival instructions. Keep your passport, offer, official approvals and institution contacts accessible while travelling.
Ask the international office about orientation, health services and any local registration steps. Understand your academic timetable and the conditions attached to your permission to stay before making work or travel plans.
Before you accept an offer
Build a budget you can use.
Keep confirmed university charges, everyday expenses and application-stage payments in one plan.
| Plan for | Check before paying |
|---|---|
| University costs | Tuition, compulsory fees and payment dates |
| Accommodation | Rent, deposits, utilities and transport |
| Preparation and travel | Documents, insurance, official charges and flights |
| Funding | Written award terms, remaining costs and a reserve |
Prepare with confidence
Your questions, before you apply.
Where should I start?
Compare your chosen course with your academic background, teaching-language evidence and budget. Use the institution’s official entry requirements to decide what to prepare next.
How should I compare funding offers?
